I just received my first print. Had an online printing service print out a moon shoot of mine. Had them frame it too. Looks absolutely fantastic. And it's even sharper than on my screen. Really pleased with how it came out and will definitely being printing more.

I, too, find the whole printing process very complicated, but would like tangible photographs to put into my 5x7 photo album (hard to find them these days). I like the idea of sending them out to get developed. Like you, I grew up in the days of film photography. What I don't understand about this industry is why many commercial photo developing services are not in sync with digital processing specifications, requiring you to export differently for print rather than screen (e.g. Henry's). However, Black's online takes the guesswork out of it for me, so I just have to submit my order online as is, except to crop for 5/7. I wish they had photo albums/print sized to match the screen dimensions because you lose some of the image in some cases. Now I have the arduous task of selecting choice ones from all the hundreds of photos I've taken over the last few years.
