SD Card Question for Live-View Remote RM-LVR2

4 years 2 months ago #677929 by PaulC
Newbie here.  Apologies if I've not posted this in the proper place.  I just purchase a used Sony Live-View Remote RM-LVR2 camera. It doesn't have a micro SD card in it.  From what I've read, the camera came with a 32GB or 64GB card. Since I need to buy a micro SD card, I'm wondering how large a card the camera will handle.  Will it take a 128GB or a 256GB card?

Thank you.

Doesn't specify at the Sony site, but my guess is those cards would work just fine.....

Why so serious?

I see that in my message I mistakenly identified the remote.  On the camera startup guide paperwork, it refers to the camera as HDR-AS200V.  Elsewhere in the paperwork it says SSID:DIRECT-3k H6:HDR-AS200V.  And finally the guide provides a web address for an online instruction manual for "Digital 4K Video Camera Recorder/Digital HD Video Camera Recorder FDR-X1000V/HDR-AS200V".

Sorry to sound so daft. It's all totally new to me.

Thank you.

Just to finish this off, I also asked Sony about the SD card size for the HDRAS200V. Here is their response:

"The 128GB card is compatible to work with the HDRAS200V action camera".
