Shooting in other countries as freelance photographer?

3 years 7 months ago #695996 by Jeff Scott
I had seen another photographers post about being registered as a freelance photographer in Switzerland.  We had trip this year planned to a number of European countries, where I was going to be shooting a lot.  Needless to say, that trip has been pushed to 2021.

Regardless, if I'm planning on shooting and possibly selling photos that I took from there.  Am I supposed to be registered somewhere?  Is that per country or all of Europe?

Thank you

Do you plan to sell the pictures in Europe, Jeff?

Hey there.  Actually I hadn't even considered that.  Does it make a difference?

Technically yes but your intention is not to so don't bother.

If you are a tourist, of what ever level you may be, you are free
to shoot anytime, anywhere that is not prohibited — military ba-
ses ect.
