Did you buy the new Apple iPhone 12 MAX?

Anyone pick up one of these?  I was going too, however reviews of the camera aren't what I originally heard.  Have you been about to test out the camera?

I'd be buying because of the camera.  If the camera isn't all that, or worth it, I'll just get the 12 Pro.

Thanks!

The camera is better but I went with a blue iPhone 12 pro.  Typing on it now and love it

I have the 128gb 12 Pro on order as well.   Max just wasn't worth it for me.

The price for a new iPhone here in South Africa is 3/4 the monthly pay of a teacher.
I still sit with a iPhone 8 and is very happy with it. I have no desire for bigger and better. They still have them at the stores on contract, so after my two year contract I might take another 8 for another 2 years. So much cheaper. I’m happy with the phone for basic recording shots, takes the apps I need...

No Apple products allowed in my house.  It seems odd to me, though, that one would choose a cell phone because of the camera.  I guess I'm not up to date.

I'm not paying no $1400 bucks for a phone.  Pass.

I only upgrade when my apps stop working. I usually go the refurb/used route when I do. I use my phone for communications and not photography.

I'm sorry, but phone prices have gotten so out of control.  Needless to say, I'm not going to go running out for one.  I'll wait till next year when they release a new one, and then if my phone is on it's last leg, I'll get the 12.

You'd expect with a crappy year, that Apple would be considerate and give these a little price break rather than squeezing $$ from people who don't have the $$.  But like a smoker buying cigarettes when they shouldn't, some Apple fans buy because they are hooked, not because they can afford.  Apple knows this.
