How much have you raised your photography rates between 2022-2024?

Alright let's have that discussion, fuel rates are out of control, mortgage rates are out of control and need I talk about inflation rates?  Food prices have taken some notable price increases.

I'm thinking about racing my Jan 24 after the holidays and leaning towards 30%.  Now I have not increased my rates since 2018, so feel it's time.

I am curious though, how much others have increased their rates this year or planning?

2022 I increased rates 15%, and I'm doing the same thing in Jan, rates for me are going up another 20%.

Those of you that have raised your rates, have your client been understanding of the rate increase?

Last two years I have raised my rates 10%, my clients have been OK with it.  I'm going to say small increases were accepted and reasonable.

Feb 2023 we raised our rates just shy of 12%. Which technically was long overdue.   Last time we raised rates was 2017!
