Photographers winter coat?

I'm looking for options on a good photographers winter coat.  Something that will hold a camera and a couple lenses is really what would be great for my needs.  Can you suggestion one please?

I had one years ago and frankly speaking, its oversized nature for me quickly became a PITA.  I don't have that coat any more, or at least I don't wear it (pretty sure it's in my garage in a box), I just carry what I want in a small shoulder bag.

keeping lenses, filters, etc in outside pockets in cold Weather will keep them the same temperature as the outdoor area that you are in, so little to no chance of fogging or moisture problems. Keeping things in inside insulated pockets will likely cause fogging and moisture problems as they are removed and used outdoors. It's the sudden temperature change warm to cold that does this. Slowly warming or cooling reduces the chances of moisture condensation, since the thin air surrounding the object in question will contain moisture when warm that will condense when it cools rapidly. The same is true in reverse when changing quickly from cold to warm, because the cold object will remove moisture from the warm air that it enters and this moisture will collect on the surfaces of the object.

The trick is to keep cold things cold and warm things warm, since the sudden change from one to the other causes the problem. A quick change in either direction is what causes problems. A big coat isn't necessarily the solution. A gradual change in temperature either way will prevent moisture problems. Take your camera out into the cold, but within an insulated camera bag. Then let it cool down slowly inside the camera case before you will need to use it. Keep in inside the case when entering the warm house and let it warm slowly before taking it out and using it.

My favourite winter jacket doesn't have much by of storage but it has a zipper and velcro strips down the front. Lets me use my cotton carrier even when it's cold (zip up to just below the camera and then close with velcro above the camera). Way better than storage. And if I really do need to carry extras I use my camera rucksack.

No special coat, I wear what I normally do and stuff what I need to in the large pockets it has.  The pockets aren't that big, but they are large enough that I can fit spare batteries and hand warmers.  I just don't carry a bunch of stuff with me when out.  So batteries is it for me.
