Backing up image files while traveling with no computer??

3 months 2 weeks ago #760328 by Crammer
I have a trip coming up to Norway, then Italy, then Africa.  This is a single 2024 trip for me and I'll be gone for 26 days.  It's a long one.  I'm going to be traveling lite and don't plan on bringing my laptop.  Now this is for weight reasons and because I don't want to have a lot of gear on me, just in case I get jumped.  I'll only be bringing one camera body and two lenses as well.  Now the problem with this, is that I have no means of backing up my images.  I'll have my iPhone with me if that helps or creates a solution to back things up??

Would you happen to know the best way to do this please?

google this
Portable Hard Drive with Built-In SD Card Reader ...

or

If your camera has dual card slots, save to both cards. Buy a bunch of cards and just swap out both when full. Don't re-use. Always put in new cards and you will end up with 2 copies of every image. Don't skimp on a trip of a lifetime.

You could use the smartphone and cloud storage you already have.

Why not just take a tablet and upload through that?
