OK to post photos from paid shoots on my social acounts?

What's your policy on posting a photo or two from your paid photo shoots you have on your social accounts?  Mainly Facebook and Instagram?  All would be medium resolution and watermarked with my contact information in the notes.

Is this OK practice?

Do you have a signed release?

You don't see many photos posted by me because even with a signed release I respect their privacy and will discuss my intention with them before I would post even one shot.

What I do post are photos of my experiments and instructional "how I did it" type photos.
I have also posted photos of Linda, the mannequin from Amazon that I use when setting up and adjusting my lights for an upcoming photo shoot of real people. She poses well for this need, has glass eyes that show the catchlights well, and she resides in the gear closet when she isn't needed.

+1  not without release from client.  Do you want to be THAT photographer that shares private moments to make a possible buck?

Hire some models and photograph them, and share those.

No no no, check with client first.  That will keep them out of the dark and you on good grounds with them.  No one wants to see their photos used for personal gain, and if you can express ahead of time why you would like to use, and get permission, that will make things much better.
