So friday night, I wanted to get shots of the moon. Just a couple roads away from me, I can get up on the mountain side and sit in a cemetary to see a good nice clearing of the valley. The sun and the moon rises above the mountain, on the other side of the valley.
Friday night, get to the cemetary. Wait. No moon at the time it was suppose to rise. Wait some more. My husband and I eventually see it. However it was almost invisable, because the sun was still out.
urgh
So, I decide to set my alarm for Saturday morning to get the moon setting. I set my alarm, but it never went off. As it turns out, I set the time, but didn't turn the alarm on. (I haven't set my alarm in a very long time).
urgh
Saturday, was cloudy all day. I was praying it would clear up. weather.com says it would be clear by 3pm. 3pm came and gone and we still had clouds. later weather.com says clouds will be gone by 7:15pm. Sun was riseing at 7:35pm. We had some clearly at 7:15, but it was still very cloudy.
Went back to the cemetary. The clearing we had was on the horizen. So I did get to see the moon come up. I did get pictures, but didn't come out as good as I like. Went back home. After about an hour, the moon was up, and there were next to no clouds. Like 98% went away. So I took more shots of the moon. So I got some while it was big and orange. Some while it was up, big, white and bright.
I'll post my photos later.
