What would you do ?

This weekend My daughter got married, I was going to do the photography but my cousin showed up and said she would help. She didnt know much about my camera so I showed her the main points, and told her some does and don't and she said she was good. I had seen some of the photo's she had taken with her P&S and they was pretty good. Well when I downloaded the photos to my PC I was shocked as hell to see all of my daughters photos where ruined, and there is no way I can get these photos back. What should I do confront her about it or just leave it alone and keep peace in the family? What would you do if it was your daughters wedding photos?

Sounds like you got what you deserved to be honest.
Seriously - you gave the job to someone who owns a P&S and hadn't used your camera before...?
What possessed you?

This is why you should always hire a wedding Pro to do wedding photos.

All you can do is say "ah well, never mind" - she's family: you can't exactly take her out to the woods and come back by yourself, can you?

Pretty much, and im sure when she finds out thet came out bad, she'll feel like crap. You dont have to even do anything, its unfortunate though.

Well first of all, I wouldn't have let the cousin take the pictures. If she wanted to take pictures of her own, she should have used her own camera and you take your own pictures.

In the end, your daughter, the bride is the client...so it's up to her if she likes the photos or not. IMO, if your daughter doesn't like them, it's up to her to say something about the pictures.

She may feel like crap and yet she may feel like those are the best photos she has ever taken.
