stock photography..I'm lost.

13 years 2 weeks ago #46295 by denger
I've just been taking photos for fun, but recently a graphic designer friend of mine said that I should try and sell some of my photos to a stock photography company. The problem is that I have no idea how to do it, or where to find the information I need. I'm in that awkward place where I don't even know what I don't know. Does anybody have any good places for me to find these things out, or have any advice?

Google stock photography. There are tons of stock sites. Read their terms and what they accept

I didn't realize they pay very little. Well then again, how little is very little? Thanks for the book.

It has alot of information. It's a good book, if you make use of it. The book isn't that good to me, since it's collecting dust.

Anywhere from 25 cents to $28 per download. Some sites can be more or less.
