It's not my cup of tea, but if that's what you are into then... shoot away

Matthew :)

Note, the best journalism is not done with long lenses from far away, but short ones close in. It takes us there and wraps that world around us.

:agree: :agree: There is a fundamnetal difficulty with what Arvid seems to propose. There is,nor has there ever been a universally, or even generally, or even locally accepted ethical code, any more than an aesthetic one. Who would judge, and on what basis?
To underscore Mathhew's point on what people actually do, there is a well known anecdote about a news photographer from the 40's and 50's, who went by Weegee. He was alwas in the streets at night with his Graflex, and happened on an accident victim still alive on a sidewalk in New York City. When he latered related coming upon this scenre, someone asked: "What did you do?". " 1/60 at f/8" he replied.

PS Posting this to keep the joke going.

Personally if you have the opportunity for a good shoot, and it's not to unethical, then game on!
