FILM CAMERA TALK...

Eh? Whad'dya say?? Never too old to rock 'n roll.

Now Chas we're not going back that far in time. Although I've gotten interested in alternate processes and making lumen prints, so it's probably just a matter of time til I try to make a tintype.

I like living on the edge. I change film mid-roll. And try to squeeze one more shot on the end of the roll of film. I make lumen prints w/paper dated before 1960 (and enjoyed discovering that Kodak Velox turns purple and Azo goes orange-y and Agfa Brovira seems as nice as the day it was made). I'm tinting B&W photos w/a 50+ year old Kodak watercolor kit. Edgy stuff huh?

What I like really, esp. w/B&W film, is I can do darkroom work and still have the option to scan and go digital. The thing I'm finding is using the different technologies together is the best option for me.

:agree: Although before I actually gave digital a chance I was sure it was the devil!

The only thing I miss is the option to buy cheaper, wonderful, old cameras that came in all sorts of varieties, and load them with the latest imaging technology.
