Just on the glance through I took - this seems like a point and shoot that has a changeable lens. I like that it has a viewfinder and the flash looks kinda cool but just looking at the controls it seems to be lacking most of the DSLR features.

Honestly I think they got the MP right for this sort of camera. You don't want 24MP or something on a cam with a sensor this small. The noise would be worse than a Sunn 0))) concert. :pinch:

Oh and most Nikon products aren't overpriced as the quality is so high. But in this case I agree with you.
