So should we expect to see iPhones increase MP like this next?

Interesting that it will probably not show up in the US because of the Symbian OS.
With a small lens and a small sensor, 41mp sounds like a desperate marketing hype to jump start sliding market share. SO they are offering a Windows Phone but also a 41-mp camera on a decade old OS.
(No mention was made of the sensor size).
Other articles say it's to allow 3x zoom without image loss.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Right you are, John. I bought a Nokia with an 8MP camera, and that same blasted Symbian OS 4 years ago, and spent the time since then cursing my foolish purchase, and the cretins who marketed that crap. Oh, the camera was ok-the phone sucked. I just bought anHTC Titan windows phone: what a relief!
Nokia, never again!:nunu: :nunu: :P

A mobile phone's tiny/noisy sensor blown up to 41MP showing off all it's flaws. People will buy it based on the massive number of MP then complain about how their pictures are all blurry and noisy.

They'll blame everything but the MPixels of course. :rolleyes
