This information seems to have gotten two threads going about it. I think companies with these type policies are pushing the limits of what people will tolerate. I'm glad now I never got around to setting up an Instagram account.

The changes I read yesterday seem to refer to photos, not to using your name in ads, but it could be that there will be further revisions before the mid-January deadline. You might end up being a virtual non-paid spokeperson.

All I know is I'm not agreeing to someone using my name, my photos, or anything of mine, without my permission and/or compensation. It seems like people will have to decide if they want to use a service/website and agree to the terms, or say no.
