Is a Sony NEX-6 still a good camera?

I know these cameras are a bit older these days, however I found a smoking deal on one that has me thinking.  But even though this camera is dated, is it still a good camera to have in the old bag?  It's the body only, however I was thinking I would just pick up a cheap used lens for it from MPB.

Thoughts?

IMO, a camera is a camera if you can get out and take a photo with it. NEX6 was an amazing camera back in the day. Assuming you are getting a good price on it, go for it, it's a great camera that is fully capable of taking amazing photos.

The Sony NEX-6 was first released in 2012 and was considered a high-end mirrorless camera at the time. While it may not have the most up-to-date technology compared to more modern cameras, it can still be a good camera depending on your needs and expectations. The NEX-6 has a 16-megapixel sensor and an APS-C image sensor, which is larger than the sensors found in many other mirrorless cameras. This means it can produce high-quality images with good detail and low noise, especially when shooting in good lighting conditions. One of the main advantages of the NEX-6 is its compact size, which makes it easy to carry around and use for everyday photography. It also has a range of features such as built-in Wi-Fi, tilting LCD screen, and an electronic viewfinder that make it a versatile camera.Overall, while the Sony NEX-6 may not be the most advanced camera on the market, it can still be a good camera for those looking for a compact, high-quality mirrorless camera at an affordable price. However, if you are looking for more advanced features, such as 4K video or faster autofocus, you may want to consider more modern cameras.

A bad day at the race track is better than a good day in the office
