I've edited a photo. How is it? How would you do it?

Hi guys

Photography has always interested and I've started looking into photo editing.

I've downloaded the Snapseed and have just been getting used to the features.

This is from amongst my first efforts at photo editing, and I want your guys opinion. The original was dark and I wanted to bring it to life.

Does it look any good, or have I overdone it? How would you have done it?

Feel free to use the photo and upload your own edited version for comparison. Looking forward to your replies!

I would have preferred to play with the RAW but…
here's my contribution:

Light is free… capturing it is not!

The photo is really cool in temp and Marinan and NS both added some great ideas it helping to break that up, IMO. Clarity, contrast, and the temp slider etc are great ways to help add more texture, depth, as well as helping to balance that blue out.
