I'm doing a road trip this weekend.  We are heading up to the mountains for a long weekend.  Can't wait!

So is that 5 days with no breaks or is it more of a relaxing drive?

I'd be curious on how active the police are towards speeding there.

Where to start:
I expect to do about 2500km (1500miles)
We do have AA, but our insurance cover (if you have) cover roadside assistance with the nearest reliable service.
Pinkie, I work at my own pace. The director asked that great locations be covered at low light, so long days awaited, but long lunches too.
This area we have great roads, mostly tar, but I am looking for gravel road locations.
On the secondary roads you hardly ever see the traffic police.
You have some fixed speed cameras, some mobile, but normally closer to the bigger towns.
