Best All-Time Ever Sitcom?

13 years 3 months ago #17303 by writers_wife
Here's a new opinion poll. My husband and I watched an old Golden Girls sitcom rerun during dinner this evening. I said I thought it was the absolute best, all-time sitcom. I can watch episodes over and over again.

My husband emphatically votes for Two and Half Men. He watches them so often he sits and quotes entire sections of dialog before the actors say their lines.

There are lots of sitcoms to choose from. Let's hear from everyone.

Seinfeld probably.

I love south park as a show.

Seinfeld was good actually.

Simpsons is the best show of all time IMHO.

FG got too opinionated for it's own good. It use to be a lot better.

Perhaps so, but the characters got MUCH funnier, especially Peter

Not funnier, more over the top maybe. Like I said, it use to be better.

The Simpsons, though it sorta jumped the shark, is still pumping out decent shows. FG won't last as long.

I've seen both shows, and although I don't watch these on regular basis, I agree, this humor won't last. Just like Beavis and Butthead and Renn & Stimpy, the FG followers will loose interest and go elsewhere for their comedy.
