Buenos Dias Fellow Photography Talkers.  Rain today.  It started last night as a sprinkle, it is more constant than hard.  Two days ago, it came down hard, not cat & dogs hard, not buckets hard ... but cats&dogs in buckets hard.

Last night was Elton John and his Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Tour.  Mary Lou and Gary said our "Goodbyes" and in return Sir John played his piano for us.  Three wonderfully entertaining hours of non-stop music.

Instead of tossing all the fallen oranges into the composter, Gary squeezed out some OJ.

Sounds like fun, his music is something truly timeless!

It was a lot of fun.  We had 'Pinks' dogs on the outside patio before the show and watch all the crazy people in pink boa's and crazy glasses walk by.  It was nice how Sir John introduced each song with a bit of history behind the songs.

Raining all day.  The pup didn't get her walk and her terrier energy level is quite high.  Gary has been cooking all day, first some bread, presently Gary is wrapping up his famous BBQ sauce and next some turkey loafs for tomorrow's football party.

Gary would call it a sell-out. Gary just heard that he’s adding a few shows at the Honda Center in Anaheim. It is so nice to hear his “improvisations” on his songs. His stubby little fingers cranking away on the keyboard... a cross between rock and jazz. Mary Lou bought our tickets last fall.

Buenas Dias Y’All. It is still raining here.  It been raining so much the fish in the koi pond are drowning.

Yesterday, Gary and Mary Lou attended a Super Bowl party in Yorba Linda. Interestingly, Richard Sherman’s folk recently move in next door. (The CB for the 49’ers.). Gary took his bread and turkey meatloaf to the party.

There are sporadic heavy rains at the marsh too. The fish are
safe though, to avoid having too much water in the eyes, they
have learned to swim backwards… Hasta luego, Gary!

The bread was soooo good.  Gary tossed in Serrano and Jalapeno peppers, (chopped up in tiny bits as not to offend those with a fragile pallet), parsley, rosemary, marjoram, bits of cheddar and munster, all topped off with orange zest/peel on top.

The turkey meatloaf had much of the same, lol ... sans the rosemary and orange ... plus eggs, panko, vino, Worcestershire, black pepper, pink salt and Gary's Famous BBQ sauce.  Gary sautéed some 'srooms, galic and onion and spread them on the top. Delish ...

All the herbs came from the backyard.
