I'm thinking about moving to some sort of home entertainment surround sound. What do you have and would you buy it again?

Suggestions? Thanks ;)

I have the bose surround sound. Make sure you buy a POWERED sub.

Just general advice. Make sure you get a fairly heavy amp. Usually that's a sign of quality. Cables etc. are also important, so don't skimp. Apart from that I don't know.

Oh yah and Scotty's right about the woofer.

Media center...computer with media center. 700some movies on it, we also watch streaming movies from Netflix. Sony receiver and sub. With Logitech THX surround sound speakers, that are actually computer speakers (that use actualy speaker wire). Had bought these speakers (set of 5) for my computer years ago.

Media centre is good if you have good quality vids on it. I have something the same, but a lot aren't super quality.
