Got my contest prize Photography Talk Camera Bag in and it's Awesome!>>

I felt like a kid at Christmas! It's the Vanguard Uprise 38, with a great Photography Talk logo on it. Something I'm sure I never would have paid enough to buy for myself. The logo adds just enough personality to it too. I took it apart, rearranged all the panels a few times and then set them back to the default. :silly: Then I stuffed all my current gear into it and it barely makes a dent. So many little pockets and features that my kids wouldn't stop messing with it. I plan to take some pictures of it, but I my camera hand is on sick leave for the time being, and my left hand is a horrible photographer. It will definitely be my big shoot, and travel gear bag from now on.

Thanks so much Photography Talk Peeps!

We should have a party. I'm still excited with my bag. Think what a fashion statement we will all make at the PhotographyTalk Summertime Reunion Alex is going to have for us in Palm Beach Florida... I hope to snag a PT golfshirt as well. :woohoo:

Dibs on the bedroom next to the bath.

Oh darn... keep the reunion on the downlow. I think Alex was going to surprise Jackie with the news.

Congratulations. This bag is a great one that I highly recommend. As for the reunion, we can have it on Jackie's birthday so she can't get mad at Alex.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Thanks

My hand is still in a brace right now. It's made me fairly unmotivated to mess with my gear. I'll get some pictures up once I get back into things.

In case you're wondering what it looks like Scotty did a review on the bag when he got his (a select few of us got a bag before the rest you even knew about them...).

www.photographytalk.com/forum/the-lounge...messenger-bag-review

Personally speaking, all i can fit in it is my camera and one lens (that's after taking out the inner padding).

Then again, the lens I'm talking about is the 70-200 2.8VR II and the camera is the D3s.
