Are you a Black Rapid sport strap user? Are you 100% happy with it? Which model of theirs do you have?

I had a normal strap from them (can't remember the model) and I personally didn't like the way it hung the camera. In HK it's easy to hit your camera on things and I felt like the cam was sticking out and exposed all the time.

Do these have a quick release so that you can mount on tripod?

I have one with the two small pockets for memory cards on the shoulder pad. I like it for hiking, although I do keep my hand on the camera so it doesn't bounce into objects! It is easy to take shots and the connector slides up the strap, but you have to unscrew the strap from the tripod mount on the camera before you can use a tripod - that is the downside. In reality, when I am carrying my tripod, I almost always have my backpack, and so the strap isn't needed. If I'm just walking with one lens, then it is great. Very comfortable

I have the RS-4 and love it. Much better than a neckstrap. I use the Arca-Swiss style quick release system and get around the problem of switching between strap and tripod by just keeping a quick release plate like this one permanently screwed onto the end of the strap.

Great idea to use the Arca Swiss quick release bracket. I never thought about that, although I bought a $30 one when I recently bought the Velbon macro focusing rails .

The quick release system included a spare plate, and is pretty nicely put together. I think it is time to buy a new one for the end of my strap!

I have one of their single camera slings and like it. The only thing I would like is on the part that is on shoulder to have more material used.
