Why do camera bags only come in black?

There are actually a lot of options out there for girls. Jo-Totes has some cute stuff. They are a little more fashion then function. There are also some brands that have great camera bags with covers to switch up designs. Off the top of my head there is one called Undfind . Hope this helps!

These bags are not rolling bags but if any women are look for FABULOUS camera bags that are very stylish & roomy, these bags will not dissapoint!

I just received my "Pink Clover" a few weeks back and it has room for camera body with lens attached, 2 spare lenses, zoom lens, macbook/small laptop/iPad, keys, memory cards, charger, cell and even managed to get a few things for my baby in there like diapers, wipes, spare sleeper!

Check out the site...

The shipping is also very reasonable....they are based in Texas and shipping to Canada was only $28!

Good to see some ladies contributing some fashionable bags. Sometimes us men put function head of fashion too much for the ladies to stand.

Though... one of the founders of Think Tank Photo is a Pulitzer Prize winning WOMAN. :o ;)

LoL ... I would think pink would be good for you girls.
After all there are pink 18-Wheelers & Harley Davidsons.
A pink Canon or Nikon would be coooool too !

In the old (film) days, everything was black to keep the light out.
Maybe that's still rubbing off in today's marketing? . . . Mmmmmmm

BTW: ..... choose a bag that has a "quick-draw".
By this I mean .... if your cam is in your bag & a sudden
photo opp is before you . . . . get that cam out quickly !!!!!!

ALSO if your cam is in a bag, ... pre-set your camera (if you shoot in
manual) for the light condition your in, just in case of a "fast draw" !
:duel:

Some bags are pretty yet very unpractical.

Why?? I suppose the same reason they don't make photographers vests etc. for women... they don't know it's the 21st century and there are women photographers?? LOL

I was going to suggest Acme Made based in San Francisco but it looks like they're doing mostly laptop bags etc. now. I got their red 'bowler' bag; it wouldn't work to carry a lot but is enough to carry a camera if you're going to an event and don't want to cart around a big bag all night. Maybe you'd find something still on the market even though the company apparently isn't making them currently.

I know of a couple of companies that I think were started by women photographers that make camera straps, Mod and Spice Up Your Camera; I haven't gotten either (yet anyway).

I carry my lip gloss AND sometimes my 'lipstick' lens brush!

I don't think photography vests are the pinnacle of fashion right?! If a woman wants to wear one then a mens one would do right?!

Anyway, at least one company makes them:

Maybe there's more?!
