Vintage camera bags?

Who makes a good quality vintage camera bag?  I want something that really looks like it came from back in the day.

Can you point me in the right direction please?

I have a huge LowePro video bag that's 20+ yo that keeps my basic
gear and three bodies in the car and a smaller Tenba for specials li-
ke PC lenses, macro, etc.

There are many other very cool brand… just look in the "used" sections!

:)

Light is free… capturing it is not!

What does that even mean? Something that looks worn? I'll bet there are "antiqued" leather bags available somewhere. Elsewise, what would appeal to you?

FYI used to be that one didn't use camera bags. One had a leather case (with long neck/shoulder strap) that one used to carry one's SLR, and film canisters in a pocket. One didn't walk around with a bunch of gear that required a huge bag.

Although I could be mistaken.

Oh man, I know a bag to recommend, however I can think of the name.

+ 1

It's also worth noting that a lot of the bags from a half century ago had very skimpy padding compared to today's bags.  I have an old bag sold by Olympus for their OM series, neat looking but very impractical.  I have not used the thing in decades.

ohwell
