Crazy portable tripod - Lumapod

Actually, I just watched that video again.  When they are using as a selfie stick, what happens to the wires?  Are those something that need to be manually added in order for this to work?  What is the tension rating for those wires?

For traveling and with smaller sized camera, this thing is awesome

Interesting or innovating?  Yes.  Would I put my DSLR on that?  Heck no.  It looks like a gust of wind would knock that over!

I wouldn't put anything on this thing. First slight breeze and over she goes plus the breeze would set up a vibration on the wires. A point and shoot inside on concrete would be the most I would use this for.

@shadowfixer.   Yeah, while my earlier remark praised this for design.  I still believe that.  However I'm with you, I would need some serious convincing before I put my DSLR on top of this tripod.

I'll wait to see some reviews from users.

Mirrorless I would, iPhone yes.  But I'm with you on the DSLR concerns.  I think that would feel top heavy with the DSLR on it.

Wish it could handle more weight, but this is a pretty slick looking design

A stick wit a couple strings on each side?

Not for me, at least not something I would put my camera and lens on top of.
