Help picking photo backpack

12 years 11 months ago #54911 by pobo 1654
I need a photo backpack to carry around all my stuff. My gear is listed in my sig. I need something that can haul a camera body, good amount of lenses, and all the accessories I would need (flash, cleaning kit, filters, etc). Can anyone recommend a good backpack? What do you all use?

There isn't a backpack large enough for me to put all of my gear in......That said, I do have a Lowepro mini trekker, but don't use it much. Most times I use a slingbag as it's more convienient to carry & access my gear....Why get larger bags as the weigth becomes a limiting factor...Carry just what you intend to use. Lots of times I will only go out with a single lens & shoot for the day. I'll carry an extra battery & some other incidentals in a small, unobtrusive bag...Lot easier on the shoulder & back.

I have a medium sized bag that I use to travel. It holds my camera body, 2 normal lenses and my really big birding lens and other odds and sods. It also holds my computer so that I can download my photos to the hard drive, However I am thinking of buying a smalled version for when I am just out locally taking shots. The one I have right is just too heavy when it is loaded. Just haven't decided what to buy.
