Panasonic is poised to bring the new LUMIX G X VARIO 12–35mm f/2.8 Zoom Lens to the market for its LUMIX G Series. The lens is also compatible with standard Micro Four Thirds system cameras. With a 24–70mm equivalent range in 35mm format, this new Panasonic lens has the performance and image quality to capture landscapes as well as portraits.

Weighing only 10.76 oz., the LUMIX G X VARIO 12–35mm zoom lens is both convenient to use and packed with many image-enhancement features. These include Nano Surface Coating to reduce ghosting and flare drastically as well as Panasonic’s POWER Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS), which makes it easier to record quick-moving objects and subjects and render highly acceptable photos in low light.

The new Panasonic LUMIX G X VARIO 12–35mm f/2.8 Zoom Lens will be released to the public during August 2012.
