Description

When you only need to bring along a few lenses, carrying a big bag is just extra weight. The Tamrac Zuma 9 Secure Traveler weighs only 1.6 pounds and offers a comfortable harness strap system with a waist belt. Like the Ikigai Rival and Lowepro Fastpack, access to gear is actually in the back panel--so pickpockets can't snatch your gear while you're wearing the bag. Using the waist strap, you can also take the shoulder straps off and swing the bag around front to access your gear without taking it off or setting it on the ground. The Tamrac Zuma is also affordably priced, retailing for $100 but often on sale for even less.

Of course, to be only 1.6 pounds, the Tamrac Zuma 9 is pretty small. It will fit a DSLR, two lenses and a flash as well as smaller accessories. The bag also isn't deep enough to store a battery grip attached to a DSLR. But, considering the comfort and price as well as extras like space for a tablet and tripod, the Zuma is a good option for hobbyists with small kits or as a lightweight secondary bag.
