Description

If you're searching for a budget tripod, you've undoubtably came across a few Sliks. The Slik PRO 500HD is the budget-friendly company's more full featured option. The legs adjust to varying angles separately, allowing for a height range of 25.7 to 65 inches. But, the center column also reverses, and shooting with it in reverse, you can shoot from as low as 13.9 inches. The three way head is also a nice feature to have, and it includes tension adjustments to control how fast you pan.

While filled with features considering the $140 price tag, the Slik Pro 500HD isn't as well built as the high-end, more expensive brands. The tripod is pretty heavy at nearly six pounds, and doesn't even hold double it's weight with a load capacity of 11 pounds. But, for enthusiast photographers looking for a budget tripod that still offers features like leg angle adjustments and a reversible center column, the Slik PRO 500HD is not a bad buy.
