Description

Even the lightest tripods have an awkward rounded shape that can be tough to toss in a bag. The Sirui S1204 legs are different because the design allows them to fold flat for easily sliding into a bag. Besides offering a low profile when folded, the S1204 is lightweight at 2.2 pounds and can still support a touch over 26 pounds. Besides the portability, the S1204 tripod legs after quite a bit of versatility with independently adjusting leg angles which helps the tripod shoot as low as seven inches from the ground. One leg can also be removed to use as a monopod.

The downside to the Sirui is that it's pretty pricey at over $400 at retail price. That's for both a tripod and monopod with the converting feature, but doesn't include a head. The Sirui is pretty stable for the category, though like every tripod, isn't as stable as a heavy standard option. Overall, these Sirui legs offer a fold-flat feature that's tough to find and have a good range of versatility and features.
