How do I take care of my digital prints? Will they fade in the sunlight like the old film prints do?

If you use archival inks and papers fading should be at a minimum. Laser prints on archival paper should not fade for quite a number of years

Even then, keeping them out of long exposure to direct sunlight is recommended.

Newer printers claim their inks will last up to 100 years, but I'm not taking any chances with mine. If i'm going to hang them, i get them under glass as soon as possible and I avoid placing them in direct sunlight. Make sure they're totally dry before putting on the glass, of course. Once or twice I had a print stick to the inside of the glass when I tried ot frame it too soon after printing. Now I allow at least 3 or 4 days of drying time before framing with glass.

If you're going to have glass, use a mat. Humidity will build the moisture a stick the glass to the pic (or the other way around). Matte finish papers are less prone to sticking if against glass.

I dont worry about it since I print them myself. So if they fade I just reprint them but, I have yet to have to do that with any of them.

I'd worry more about backing up the originals.

True, lose the digitals and you can't make any more prints.

Looks like you have lots of good suggestions. I'll just add one more tip I've learned the hard way. If you have a big stack of prints, definitely put some protective film between them. digital prints scratch very easily. I have 30 or more that I'm going ot have to discard and reprint because I left them in a stack and over time, as i went thru them, they really got scratched up.
