Software to add pixels

13 years 3 months ago #11486 by bankmaster
I have tons of nice photos I've taken over the past 5 years with a digital camera that had a faily small amount of megapixels. Some of the shots are worth enlarging, but I can't make them more than about 11 x 14 max without them losing quality.

Someone told me there's a software program out there that "intelligently" adds pixels to digital files like mine. Does anyone know the name and/or if it really works?

Yes, it WAS called Genuine Fractals but recently was released as Perfect Resize 7.

Since Genuine Fractals has been released under a new name, the old versions have come down in price quite a bit, especially if you look for OEM.

Here's a site listing an OEM version of Genuine Fractals for $25.00

Those prices listed for that & the other programs leads me to think they are "pirated" versions

Why would anyone buy pirate stuff? I thought the point of pirating software was it's free (but illegal, so don't do it).
