Is it just me or does it appear some people but HDR software, slide the bars all the way over and create a "cartoon"effect. I prefer HDR techniques to enhance a shot and bring out the realism that the human eye captures. How about you?

You can get 95% of the "realistic" look playing with curves in PS. I don't bother with HDR mostly.

In looking at the albums, I noticed a number label HDR but the colours DO NOT appear in nature. Guess that's what some call "art photos".

But there's such thing as GOOD art ;)

:agree: I think some people think HDR is so cool, so they have to try it. When they create their own HDR, they have no idea what they are doing, so they ruin the photo.

I prefer HDR that you can't tell is HDR. But I will admit to overdoing many effects the first few times I tried them. :toocrazy:
