The "Big Snow" of 2012

12 years 2 months ago - 12 years 2 months ago #202622 by Baydream
We got out first snow of the season yesterday. Between 2 and 4 inches accumulated from 4 to 10 PM. It finally hit freezing about 6 PM. I managed to get out this morning and catch a few shot. Now, 24 hours after it started, the snow is almost gone.
Here are a couple of my favorite pics.

Number one for me.

You don't know how hard it is to mention the double rainbow MEME btw.

Nice shots, I wish we had to wait until Feb for our first snow.......

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.

Great shots John, that first one is awesome-I love the rainbow you captured. I feel like the odd duck around here, I'm loving the fact that we've had Less snow than usual this year. Most of our storms were 8 inches or less with lots of rain & freezing rain thrown in just to make things "interesting." I was noticing when I left work at 5:30 tonight how light it still was....THAT is a good sign.....:woohoo:

I especially love your first photo. :woohoo: Our weather predicted up to six inches and we didn't get anything.
