That one hot spot is dead center. See if you can tone it down.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

There's no blown highlights or anything. It's not that, I think i don't like the sky.

Not sure how to do that but crop at the top of the gray clouds should be where I would cut off the sky

restored your post.

I meant to say in my OWN post...feel free to crop it and show what you want.

Thanks for all your opinions guys.

btw. I didn't add saturation in this shot, the lighting was nuts that day.

Sky is Ok for me. I'd crop out the foreground, and lighten up that bridge shadow a little.

I'm with you on the sky thing. Maybe an 18% overlay layer? I like the overylay for skies like that. Just a thought.

It is what it is.

thats a hot winter day id say if you didnt do any color changes.

I would say crop the bottom, you have a great sky with a tree and some bushes and a bridge then down more is the water and reflection and the shore close to your feet is what throws me off, Id say crop the bottom 1/4 of the image.

Have you thought of burning those clouds in a touch and making the sky a deeper blue, it is a good sky but it doesnt match the depth of the main photo, I like the bright spot in the centre it draws the eyes right into the photo.
Now this next bit may be controversial with you Americans bein patriotic and all, but I find the flag sort of distracts my eye just a little, the bright spot draws me in then suddenly my eye wonders whats that and moves off to the left ???

Just took a second look and it doesnt matter where I look at in the photo my eyes move instantly towards the flag, but then again maybe thats the intention.
