What do you think?

I took a short trip this evening to get a few shots. It will only be about 20 here for a few days. :rolleyes So I wanted to try out the Nikon one more time before it's too cold. This was my first time shooting railroad tracks. Which one do you like best? Thoughts and comments please.

I like the bottom one. But I would be tempted to tweak the levels for slightly brighter highlights.

I like both shots (top and bottom) and I love the middle one too. I vote you clone the hills and sky from the middle one onto either of the other shots and see what you get. :woohoo: :judge:

:agree: The dark clouds help "frame" the scene and the eye follows the tracks to the vanishing point without jumping to the bright spots in the sky. Perfect.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Thanks very much. Still trying to figure out why the pics from the Nikon are grainy and a little soft.
I used a low ISO too.

Just add some fill light.

Thanks Chasrich. There you go again asking for the impossible. My cloning skills leave much to be desired. I think you're joking right?

Beautiful ! I like them both, the bottom one catches my eye just a tad more though. Very well done! :)
