Just below Okracoke Island (the southern tip of Hatteras Outer Banks), the land juts westward toward Jacksonvile, NC (Camp Lejune). Because of this, during the winter months,the sun sets over the Atlantic. During the summer, it will set over the land to the right in the photo.KCook wrote:
