I prefer the first shot. The vignetting and the lack of the buildings makes this one for me!

I also prefer the second image.

At first I misunderstood your title. I was expecting the same image win different crops and adjustments.

The first is better to me, but I'd like it much more if the vignette was very subtle instead of being so strong. Just my preference though. But as for the entirety of the photo, the color and exposure both definitely look better in #1.

Oh I forgot to mention, I also prefer #1 for the composition. The partial building in the foreground of #2 is a little distracting.

Number one has better composition but I'm not a fan of the vignetting - at least not to this degree.

1st one for sure. I agree about the vignetting being a bit much, although I genrerally like to use it myself. I also like the trees leading my eyes up, rather than being tripped up as they are in the second image. I also don't like the sky color in the second one.

Thanks for posting these!

I'm with the majority above. #1 has much better color and composition (vignetting is a bit over done). Sky in #2 is flat and the buildings in the foreground detract.
I too thought I was going to see one photo with different edits.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

:agree:

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.

I like the first edit, although they are two different angles, so technically not the "same" shot. The first one does not have distracting building tops in the foreground and the vignetting makes it look medieval to me.
