I agree with Scotty. This is a nice clean image. A nice clean composition and I like that the sun and sky are not underexposed like we see in so many attempts to photograph a sunset like this. Very nice exposure of the dark side of the boat as well. I admire this nicely executed photograph. :judge:

Wonderful shot, Master. Exposure, focus, composition  .

Hope you got by Uncle Bubba's Oyster House while you were there. Paula Deen and her brother own it and it is superb seafood. My wife loves the flame-roasted oysters. Halfway between Savannah and Tybee.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Thanks so much everyone, for the kind words. Karl ... high praise coming form someone's landscape work that I admire very much.

John,
We did not do Uncle Bubba's ..... Made it to Paula Deen's for my wife. We like a couple of others better than Bubba's, especially Sundae's and Coco's. We did eat one night at the Crab Shack .... Why? I don't know .... must have really felt like tourists that night!

:judge: Excellent capture...I'm very impressed with the exposure on the West side of the boat ( any selective dodging? )! Details are sharp, and the colors are saturated just right. Nice composition, too...sun is positioned perfectly, and you even caught the reflection skipping over the water; might like just a wee bit more room side-to-side, but I'd be tickled with it just the way it is!

What you are is so loud, I can't hear a word you say!

CW - I agree with more side-to-side space, but it is all there is, the image has been slightly cropped on the top, but the side areas are as they were shot. As for select dodging ... PS or any post processing is not in my bag of tricks. No idea how to "dodge" ... crop, contrast, enhance and not much else are my post process skills.

Thanks for the comment
