Beautiful work Michele. Glad to find another shooter from the Bluegrass - I'm from Florence in the North and shoot sports.

Overall looks good. The third picture could have been far better. The black dot on the top right is due to dust on your sensor. The black dot could have been removed while post processing. The details in the foreground are not that great. Since it's a daytime landscape shot and it's clear that there is pretty good range of dynamic range. The picture quality could have been improved with GND filter or by some post processing technique.

It's a nice start. Please keep shooting and posting.

Thank you both!! I never saw that dot til you pointed it out...lol All of these pics were taken while riding in a truck going about 50 mph. I should have posted that lil bit of info. Yes....I still have so much to learn & I thank you for your comments.

50mph explaims why No3 has no clear focus point.
Nice feeling of place!
I might use less saturation, and vignetting on landscapes doesn't seem very useful to me.
Nice work!

I am very interested in landscape as well as nature photography. Even though I started taking picture couple of years ago, I recently learned about some cool filters and technique to take very good pictures. I would like to encourage you to read about : GND filters , dynamic range, (post processing technique like : luminosity mask, luminosity painting (dodge/burn layers))

The aforementioned technique and tools are really important in capturing the nature.

Best of luck and hope to see more

I took care of this one. Thanks for pointing that out, John. Michelle, you can go back and edit your posts if you forget.

:agree: Straightening horizons is the first step in my post processing.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.
