Nice shots, well exposed but if the birds are the subject I would put more space in front of them.
Keep shooting you are on the right track.

WOW...haven't seen one of those pheasants in years!!! Great captures on those first two...nice action on the third one! Looks like the lens is working pretty well!!! :)

What you are is so loud, I can't hear a word you say!

Sorry can you explain that please?

Look at the last shot for eg...not much room for the bird to move into but there is lot of room at the back.
The middle one is good,no problem there but the first one where the bird is in centered makes the image looks static.
Hope this helps...

Ah I'm with you, they are all quite well cropped so I could adjust that, thank you, I am going to have to consider the composition more in future

No problem,we are here to learn...at least I am.If you were just shooting the garden and the bird wasn`t important
then I would accept the images as is,that`s why I put that .......
'if the birds are the subject I would put more space in front of them'.
I like your attitude,very cordial.

The whole idea of these forums should be to learn, there is always someone that has greater knowledge and or sees things from a different perspective, I will always appreciate anyone that takes the trouble to comment.
And civility costs nothing, I have been on other forums where people can be so rude.
