My only complaint is I still have a couple feet of snow (ice) on my gardens.....
I like the comp and this could use a little curves adjustment maybe. However, I like the shot....more please?

Why so serious?

Thanks for your kind comment.  In looking at it again, I have agree.  BTW, today it is thirty degrees outside.  So much for global warming.

If this is a recent shot, it's important to note that the orchid show was in the (huge) conservatory. The grounds were still covered with snow 2 weeks ago.

I have about 800 shots from my afternoon spent there to go through. You can see one of them on my ViewBug page .

It was taken last Sunday in the conservatory.  I checked out your photo.  It's great, I really like the color.

Longwood was awesome. I want to visit when it's warm, and everything is growing, and people are enjoying the grounds. Clearly one of the highlights of southeastern PA.

On your photo, I like the spray, and the colors. The image seems a bit underexposed to me. If you are shooting in manual mode, you might open the aperture up and use single-point focus on just one of the flowers; let the rest blur out since the background is so busy. Lots of DoF on a flower works better with simple, uncluttered backgrounds, IMO.

Keep shooting!

Thanks for your comments.  I will keep them in mind.  BTW, My wife and I have season passes to Longwood.  We go several times a year.  It is particularly beautiful at Christmas.
