in the original NEF file yes without adjustment the outline of the sun is not defined, it´s not blown, all the data is still there, if you lower just the whites and highlights in Lightroom to zero the outline of the sun then becomes very apparent / clear. Reducing the exposure to -34 then makes the sun almost sharp. In PS later i can tint the image with a blue to a more vivid orange tint. You cant see from the image, but the sun was very low in the sky so quite weak, if i shot into a high midday sun i´d have some extra problems of glare and flair etc, but even that´s possible
