Strange Feather Flight Companionship

I saw a splendid mature female Swan in flight in company — for what-
ever strange reasons — of a mature Greater White-fronted Goose that
deliberately followed the heavier bird all after landing.

#3 is wonderful. It simply draws the viewer away from a life of stress and conflict into a completely different world of tranquility and beauty. Thank you for sharing.

There are photographs everywhere. It is the call of photographers to see and capture those images.

PS- Nice that you had them turn towards the light.  Much more drama, well done.

In our eyes only…
for the birds — all wild animals for that matter — it is:
  • keep an open eye for any threats
  • stay away from the aggression of congeners
  • find food
  • etc.

I still don't have much authority on wildlife so this was
