Hmmm.... not sure what I am seeing there.  Is something trying to sneak in for a surprise lunch?

My daughter saw it through her lens and wondered as well. I observed:
  • does not look like it's moving much and the water is still very cold
  • body in full extension is not the best way to ambush a prey
We walked closer to see that it is just a piece of root stuck on high grounds
but the illusion is so great… she thought: "If a little bird sat there…"

Back home I suggested she finds a bird and set it in the picture. Once done,
she showed me her composition. I noted:
  • that choice of pose was not the best because
  • fleeing prey animals have lateral vision while predators have forward vision
  • so if that was a real danger, it would have been spotted right away.
About the PP:
  • maybe the bird is a tad too big
  • the tonal adjustments are quite realistic
  • the composition was very well done with no artefacts
She already published the jpg without saving the composition file before quit-
ting the app… maybe next time. :P

I was asked: "Aren't suppose to post only pictures you took?"
I answered: I took both pictures and she realised the composition.

Anyway, I contributed so many pictures here that I should possibly
be forgiven to be proud of my daughter. :P

Good composition  to balance  the bird and tree root  opposing  the tree branches .

I know that feeling.... it's great to feel proud of your daughter.
I just have one question.... When does a photograph, stop being a photograph?
