Ex Professional from Toledo

13 years 2 months ago #32811 by know it all
Evening, everyone. New to the site, but far from new to the world of photography. Retired last year after 40 years in the business. Now I have time to play and take all the photos I want to take rather than what I was required to take.

Enjoying life with my newest acquisition - a Nikon D3X and it's newest accessory - a 16 MM f/2.8 AF Fisheye lens.

Wow, I looked up you Nikon on the internet. I can't imagine using anything like that. I'll stick with my little Fuji. It's nothing special but it takes pictures that satisfy me. By the looks of your camera, I'd have to go to college for 4 years just to learn how to use it.

Even though you're an ex-professional will you be posting tips and maybe some short lessons on this site? I for one would be very interested. I know I have a lot to learn and I can't think of a better source than someone who made a living at it for a number of years. Why did you quit?
