There have been a couple of videos posted in the forum on photographing water splashes and "oil and water".
Also a good time to take Dori's idea and practice macro.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Rain doesn't always stop me (unless it's cold out too). But the cat makes a good subject for indoor pix ... and editing.

Sure, practice makes perfect but, unless you learn from your mistakes, you are only perfecting your ability to fail.

You have two basic choices. 1) you can stay inside and shoot in a studio if you have one or just anyplace else inside. 2) Go out and stay under cover like with an umbrella and snap photos especially of reflections and colors in the rain. They cam be awesome!!!

I spend my time editing and sorting my photos. I also photograph my cats. When there is a break in the storm I head out to shoot water drops.

I go outside and shoot in the rain. Really I do. I shoot the raindrops on flowers, lightning (if there is any) raindrops hitting the ground etc..

Most of the time I spend it editing photos or learning new tricks in photoshop...other times I get out & shot whatever peeks my interest. I guess it depends mostly what my workload looks like.
