No u have to switch

Careful. Rob has friends that swing a mean hockey stick. :catfight:

I play hockey so im used to it

I was used to it to when I was a kid. I was the goalie so people were always shooting at me.
No I would not switch, I love the Nikons layout for the controls. I tried my cousins Canon and it didnt work the same at all.

I would turn into a pretty pricey switch when you consider total cost you have into that brand of camera and lenses.

We're on this subject again?? - and this time Rob's wielding a big stick! I think they're both comparable, it's mostly personal preference. And as someone mentioned, you buy a body and a lens and accessories, and one thing leads to another. It just makes sense most of the time to not start from scratch buying everything new if you switch.

It's very much personal preference. It's just very expensive to try both and see what you like. ;)

True. I suppose renting something could be a way to try out another brand.

Only then I'd have to rent every couple of years. As I keep changing my mind :toocrazy:

Yep, might find that you like the other side to much and actually make the costly move. I would rather have the "gee I wonder" thought in the back of my mind  and stick with my Nikon

Brand loyalty is built into the system. What would I do with my EOS neckstrap if I owned a Nikon?

This reminds me of the review PT posted on the Canon 60D - did anyone notice they had a Nikon strap on the camera?
